Frequently asked questions.
How do I inquire about having my flowers preserved?
You can fill out our inquiry form on the Get in Touch page or click here! I’ll get back to you as soon as possible to discuss your event, available dates, and the pieces you’re interested in.
When should I reach out to book preservation?
As early as possible! Booking in advance ensures I can reserve time for your flowers especially during busy wedding seasons. If your event is coming up quick just reach out anyway and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
How do I send my flowers to you?
Once your booking is confirmed, I’ll send you a detailed Flower Shipping Guide. In short:
– Flowers must be shipped within 24 hours of the event.
– Choose Overnight or 2-Day Shipping through UPS or FedEx.
– I’ll include step by step instructions for packing and hydrating your blooms to keep them as fresh as possible.
Can I drop off my flowers or have you pick them up instead of shipping them?
If you're located in Florida, especially within the Tampa to Jacksonville to West Palm area, we may be able to arrange a drop-off or pick up. Just let me know when you inquire!
Can you preserve my flowers from my international event?
There are a couple ways we can preserve your flowers from an international event. The first option would be for you or your planners to contact international customs to determine the process to ship your flowers from your location to Florida, the second option would be to take your flowers with you on the plane and then once you land in the US to ship the flowers (this may or may not work, some people have been able to do this but its best to always ask your airline and customs), the other option would be to make a recreation of your flowers with US grown flowers and then no customs would have to be dealt with. We can review this over an inquiry call here.
How many pieces can one wedding bouquet create?
It depends on the size of the bouquet and the size of the pieces that you would like, I do my best with utilizing as many flowers as possible so there is no waste. Typically 3 small pieces or 2 large pieces can be made from one wedding bouquet.
What types of keepsakes do you offer?
I offer a variety of handmade resin keepsakes like various sizes of blocks, trays, coaster, and more. Each piece is crafted with care and customized to your flowers. If you don’t see something in my product list that you would like, please reach out and let me know. Most likely, I will be able to do whatever shape you are looking for.
Can I include other mementos in my piece?
Yes! Invitations, small charms, ribbons, and other flat keepsakes can often be incorporated. Just mention it during our consultation.
My special event has already passed! Can you still preserve something for me?
Yes! I can either preserve your already dried flowers from a previous event or I can recreate your special flowers for you!
How long does the preservation process take?
Most pieces are completed within 12 weeks. Flower drying, designing, and curing resin takes time to ensure everything is sealed beautifully and lasts a lifetime.
How much does it cost?
Prices vary depending on the size of the keepsake. On the Shop page there is a list of styles and pricing, but we can go over a full pricing guide once you inquire, and you’ll have the option to build a custom order.
What if my flowers are already a few days old?
The fresher the better, but I’ll always do what I can. Some flowers age more gracefully than others. Let’s chat and I’ll advise you based on different scenarios of your blooms.
Do you preserve flowers from events other than weddings?
Absolutely! I preserve florals from anniversaries, memorials, baby showers, birthdays, and more. If it's meaningful to you, it's meaningful to me!
Do all flowers preserve well?
Some flowers, like succulents or waxy coated flowers, don’t always preserve well in resin due to their high moisture, but I’ll always do my best to get them looking the best they can.
Will my flowers look the same as they did fresh?
I take great care using premium materials all made in the USA to preserve your flowers beautifully, slight changes in color, shape, or texture are natural. Over time, some micro-bubbles or slight discoloration in the resin may occur and these are normal and part of resin preservations.
